610 Sedan is pretty much cool enough to drive, made it to Long beach and back no probs. besides the bolt the fell into the motor from the Oil cap. Lol why was there a bolt on the oil cap? I dunno, maybe some people from sunnyvale decided to make a steeringwheel oil cap one night... who knows...
hmm nothin else much went on since then besides work and school...
Heres a few pic of the sedan to look at cuz I have nothing else to say :)
anyways hopefully I wont forget about blogging, and blog a little. although, nothing special is really going on lol.

Saturday may fourtheenth
today was a wonderful day.
started out with a trip to Niles (fremont/Newark) area. for the "spring fever" car show. they had a bunch of hot rods and old school muscle, along with a few lowriders and a hand full of other stuff. Me and mimi walked the streets and peeped at the cars, enjoyed the live band playing/singing beach boys.
after the car show we took off and headed to san jose to Bill's dad's house in hope to find either bill or his dad... but no one was there... oh well, one day ill find him. on the way to the house he got ahold of a TI-83 Plus calculator for $25 in San Rafael. A bit of a drive but the price seemed cheap enough to make it worth while.
We left bills house and went back to mimi's to drop off my wagon and pick up mimi's jetta. we Headed out to pick up the calculator. it was a bit of a drive, maybe a tad over an hour to get there. it was about 15 minutes past the golden gate bridge, which was fun to drive over since its been a while since I've been there. Also saw a nice new ferrari smashin and weaving down the bridge. I always get a kick out of nice expensive cars going fast and doing cool stuff. anyhoo we got to our destination and traded some paper for a calculator which was a bit less nice than we had expected, but it works and we also ordered new parts for it, so itll do just fine.
As we headed back over the golden gate bridge I had passed the 19th ave exit because of some road construction and me not paying attention to signs until it was too late. so we took the other rout through the city down Lombard street. Took a while to get there and a slow (mimi scaring) climb up Lombard to get to the fun little twisty street that everyone loves for some reason.
after Lombard we headed through downtown a little and made our way to union square. drove around in a circle around union square and then took off heading towards Japantown, where our next stop would be.
In japantown we walked the mall, shopped a bit and hung out. It was nice because Its been a while since I had last been there too. Nothing really new, but always a fun place to just kinda kick it and waste time. as we left japantown, we went to pay for our parking ticket, and some retarted ass chinese lady tried to cut infront of us, with some excuse that neither me, mimi, nor the lady behind us cared about. We told her off and the lady behind did the same, and we were on our marry way back to Sunnyvale.
came home and chit chatted with mom for a bit, then took a nice short nap before it was time to eat some dinner. As i slept mimi thought of a place to eat, which ended up being cheesecake factory :) good choice! although her first dish she had order (weight loss grilled chicken) came out over cooked and dried out, with raw green beans that hadnt had the stems removed... The waiter was nice and took care of the dish and replaced it with a much better Grilled mahi mahi plate with veggies. i had the crusted chicken romano, which mediocre, but not bad. a free coffee and slice of cheese cake was comped. to us for the trouble with the first chicken plate, and the situation was handled very well.
Now we are back home and doing homework... well mimi is, and I am blogging... but shortly I will be joining her. I had a wonderful day. and I enjoyed it very much. Now in the coming week or more We will be swamped with studying for finals :( wish us luck!

WWWWWWWWWWwwwwweber!!!!!!!
picked up a carb the other day from a super cool older dude, who is into hot rods and all that good ol American Muscle. any hoo popped it onto the Sedan yesterday morning before work and fired it up. seemed to run pretty cool. it revs much nicer with not much hessitation :) Although there is a vacum leak somewhere making a funny whistle sound, but that'll be next weeks task i guess.
One day that car will be on the road.
plans for this coming weekend are:
-sanding
-masking
-cleaning up some stuff
-maybe a little bondo
-maybe some paint
-start checking the electrical for the head lights and all that junk

Easter sunday
so this past sunday was easter, and I decided to work on the cars a bit.
-polished the front bumper of the sedan
-installed the Long lost rear passanger window on the sedan
-started the sedan
-installed the 3" blocks on the truck
-put front lip back on the truck
Sedan is comin along slowly, but surely. Today I will be picking up a new (used) Weber carb for it, hopefully itll run a bit better. still need a handfull of parts and a lot of sanding. Wagon is finally running and doin well. picked up a small airtank for it, so i dont have to find a gas station every time i want to raise up the rear. $25 on sale @ the new Harbor Freight!
On Saturday Me and Mimi went out to Livermore for a small Japanese Classic Car meet. Was kinda cool. had mostly 510's there, a few Z's and other Toyotas. Also a bunch of miatas and other more modern cars showed up. The drive over was pretty nice. weather was nice, and the lake/park the meet was at was pretty nice as well. Over all a nice day.
The paparazzi from Ratsun.net caught us Ridin' Dirty (>.<) LOL

next up for the wagon
so i need to pull the wagon tranny back off and see whats really going on with the starter and all that junk. along with a new fuel pump that i need to order and install i would like to do some cutting...
its been an ongoing idea to cut and make room for the drive shaft and diff, but i never did it. i think now that i will be pulling it appart again, its time. I recently was kicking around Speedhunters and saw a corolla wagon that was pretty low. and i thought to myself... man... my wagon is too high... as i scrolled down i slapped myself in the face when i saw they had done what i had wanted to do... which makes me mad. not because they are the first to do it, because this has been done millions of times, but because their wagon is lower than my wagon...
I want to see what i can do in hopes of keeping my rear seat. Im thinking i may have to do some cutting and stuff to that too, but whatever, i have a couple of them, so i never hurts to mess one of them up. LOL. Measure not, and cut twice right?
i think i wanna get rid of the leafs and link the rear though, run some coils or somethin. no more of that air shock crap... just wanna keep it low and yah... low.

a few new/old items :)
So today was an adventure somewhat. went for a drive from sunnyvale to Vacaville to berkeley back to sunnyvale. about 250+ miles. the truck did fabulous today
anyways the reason for going to vacaville was to pick up a few parts for the sedan and also see if this guy had anything else interesting, which unfortunately he didnt... oh well.
anyways i picked up a set of Rocker Panel trim, which is hard to find, no one has it, but i came across someone with a set. I actually only needed on to complete my set, but i could always use an extra i figured. the other item that I picked up was a set of tail light trim. nicely polished and repainted, looks pretty nice. I wanted an extra set so I can paint one sent and have a stock set :) Now i just need to decide how I want to paint the extra/not as good set.

Food hangover.
So last night even though being on a healthy/somewhat strict diet, we decided to go eat China palace. knowing that we were going to eat a lot.... Pan fried onion cakes, Beef chow fun with black bean sause, honey walnut prawns, and some rice.
we killed it all...
... towards the end of our face stuffing, we already knew we were in trouble. the feeling of fullness hit us hard and fast. but.... we kept going until it was all gone... after paying and leaving we got into the car and felt like dying. food coma was on its way as well. we got home and watched Skins on MTV, and just after the show was over we decided to set alarms and take a nap.
the first alarm rang, and was ignored. as was the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, even 6th and 7th alarms were ignored.... we were in too deep. but finally we got the strength to get up and I took mimi back home around 4am, and we needed to wake up early for school... which we barely woke up for. this morning was tough and slow, and full of grumpiness. We managed to get here.
I feel like i have a million pounds holding my body back, and a feeling of just grossness. I dont know how we used to do this so often... maybe im just getting too old now... I never really believed that eating healthy and excersizing gives you energy and makes you feel better, but after this, ima believer.
Dear China Plalace,
I will not be back. thank you for the yummy food over the past years, and the company of the flies during hot summer nights.
Good bye,
Russell

sedan's frist drive.
So I worked on the sedan the other day (saturday). Ran around for a couple things, I got tires for the centerlines in the rear, tires for the Enkei mesh for the fronts. The guy at Rich's Tires was being a little pain in the ass, but after moaning and growning and having someone else mount the tires that I chose things were just fine. I tried going to Tap plastics for a window replacement, but they wanted $75 and they guy was pissing me off, so i decided I didnt want it anymore, at least from that guy.
After runnin around I picked up Mimi and headed back to the house. Took the old wheels off, lowered the rear coilovers a bit, rolled the fenders, and fitted all 4 wheels on the car. the rears seem to fit nicely, the fronts need smaller tires or camber plates, or both.... probably both. but for now they will just have to rub a lot.
The car starts and runs, revs semi ok. the RPMs can be brought all the way up now with the timing and new distributor on there. has some hesitating but probably need to get a new carb on there. So I started it up and let it run for a while, warmed it up, played with carb a little bit, but nothing seemed to help. oh well. after puting the car on back on the ground and putting tools away. Me and mimi jumped in and took it for its first drive up and down the street. pretty exciting, since I picked the car up almost a year ago.
Still need to do a lot of sanding, bodywork, and a little paint... not really excited about it, but its should be done so that the car wont look too retarted going down the road. At least one solid color would make it presentable.
as for the wagon. I plan to pull the tranny back off and fit the starter on to see where it is hitting and by how much and what not. sounds not fun, but I wanna do it so I can have another car to drive. plus the wagon is kinda fun to drive once in a while. Needs a new fuel pump as well.... I feel like my wagon has been under a car cover for most of its life with me.
Maybe ill start postin up some progression pictures as I go along. Usually I don't post my cars/projects, but no one really goes on my blog anyways lol. It might be kinda cool to see how it evolves as things are being done.
Here's Mimi takin off the lug nuts ^^ Thanx Love!

healthy time :D
a while back me and mimi started going to the gym. worked out well for a few weeks then we fell off for a few months.... lol. all that dieting and all that healthy stuff, well we fell off on that too. but now we are back at it for round 2? 3? 8? jkjk. doesnt matter what round it is. We're BACK!!!!
-lower calorie intakes per day
-cutting out more fried and processed food
-no sodas (although we didnt really drink it anyways)
-eating more salads and greens
-no eating too late or right before sleeping
-less to no sweets
-idk probably other stuff...
anyways. feels good to be healthy. loosing weight isnt so much my goal, I more just want to be healthy and be more athletic? right now i probably can barely run down the street if Im lucky, so things like that I wish to improve.
maybe one day after all this hard work I be as cool as this guy:
and look what his brand Ambush came out with :D
too bad its sold out everwhere I can find it...

whats been goin on lately?
Nothing.
No time for fun or chillin, just a school some days, and the other days work. one full day off from both, which is usually spent 50%+ studying or doing something that isnt neccessarily by choice. When I get time ill kick around the cars and fiddle faddle here and there. Also still tryin to save a few of my pennies after paying the bills, but that seems near impossible, Although in the end im sure itll be worth it.
Datsun swap meet comin up on sunday morning, maybe me and meemz will go if we can wake up. LOL its a long drive, but hopefully the vendors or people sellin junk will bring some usefull stuff :)
Traveling.. Yes please, and sometime soon *Crosses fingers* Summer time??? :D
Japan? Korea? LA? Anywhere?
I wish the days had more hours in them for free time. and I wish people didnt need as many hours to get a full nights rest.

Secret is cool
This Korean group i came across on youtube a while ago is pretty cool. pretty catchy and cool songs. the group is named Secret. IDK really know anything about them but they have fun songs. their song shy boy has been doing pretty well on the charts from what I understand.
Secret - Shy Boy Music Video
Secret - Madonna
America needs to start steppin up their game, songs over here are cool for like 2 seconds then get played out.... or aren't really cool to begin with, but they play it so much that it becomes catchy and stuck in your head, brain washing you to believe that its a good song....

school started truck is fun
So went to class on monday. not bad. begining to realize again how much school work sux. but supposedly its worth it in the end right? Math seemed to be cool. well math isnt cool, but yah. the teacher seems harmless, his accent is pretty funny. "pee po" US history, the teacher is a loony, but it makes it interesting i guess. The amount of work doesnt seem too bad either. so I think this semester wont be too bad. *Crossing fingers*
So today I went to the junk yard after dropping my lovely lady off at school. The other day I noticed that Joes truck that him and dad brought home to work on (early 80's ford ranger), had a nice cool front lip that I noticed that it just might fit my truck :D So like i was saying, today I went to the junkyard and found me a nice, pretty much in perfect shape, front lip off a for ranger. I also picked up some U-bolts for joes truck cuz i guess his are bent or soemthing. anyways After picking up the parts and picking up mimi from school, I went home and installed. Amazingly its almost as if they made this lip to fit b2000's. Just a few holes drilled and bolted it right up. the length fit the stock mazda bumper nicely and idk it was too easy. I trimmed down the sides of the lip and there it was.
- driving was fun. lip scrapes uuurrthing :D
- plans are to lower the rear and possibly raise the front a smidge, also have the exhaust fixed.

school time again.
Class starts tomorrow/today
2 classes on mondays and wensdays. Math and US history.
-pretty excited, but at the same time Im not excited. Im dreading the time it is going to take for me to learn and study all the material I am going to have to learn in class and on my own...
oh wells. should be good for me. it usually is in the end. My time will be well spent. and my money will be well unspent, hopefully :)
Also on the agenda for tomorrow/today is go to the DMV in the morning to get my registration sticker for the truck! super excited! no more worrying about the police pulling me over for 2009 registration. All the fees are paid and the smog is all good now! :)
Sedan update:
-needs body work still and paint

whats going on
1 year aniversary was awesome. went to go eat crab in Union city at the church, I think more cookies than crabs were consumed but either way it was a blast! after, we exchanged gifts back at mimi's house. The most thoughtful letter was given to me, and is now lost.... Im sorry yobo....
.... :(
I gave mimi a book that I had writen... well not much of a book, i guess a short story? anyways I tried to be clever and use my imagination in creating a story where I would be able to do things in real life as the story was being read... Make sense? lol well it worked, and supposedly she loved it. and strangely my story unknowingly as i wrote it, turned out to be quite similar to Alice in Wonderland... Know anyone who likes that movie?
Afterwards we dashed off to Rumors where we sipped on some bear and shared some sake. it was a perfect time.
A few days later my present came in the mail! it was a custom puzzle!! with our pictures on it, like pictures of our memories! I love it. cant wait to try and do the puzzle to. Its been years and years since I last attempted to try to do a real puzzle. Thank you mimi Lee for the everything ^^
other than that its just been work. started working more hours at Yuki, so im there 5 nights a week.
and school is starting in a few days... not fun, but im looking forward to it. I think itll make time pass by faster, and that'll help me save some money.
Oh the tranny and clutch and junk is all back in the wagon, but it needs shims for the started, and maybe a new fuel pump? idk runs like crap.... stupid wagon!
Truck hopefully will be smogged on sat!!! cross my fingers! I need something to drive!
The sedan needs some work also...
...I hate cars....
I need an impala.
hmm anything else...? i cant remember... lol... bad memory. I need to work on that.

Today is a good day, tomorrow is an even better one.
Today is January 22, 2010
Time to eat some crabs tonight! Jichan ^^ once again bought me and mimi tickets to the crab feed at the Buddhist church in Union city! Cant wait to get my eat on. Also me and mimi will be attending Rumors for a few drinks and relaxation. before the crab feed is unplanned nor is the time between the crab deal and Rumors, but in all honesty anytime spent with my Meemz is always time well spent. :D
Now once the clock hits 12am and the date turns to the 23, its a whole new ball game. exactly one year ago on January 23, the beautiful Mimi Lee and Myself were officially a team ready to battle the world and everything in it. So 12am tonight/tomorrow morning marks a page in our book.
I cant wait to see what is in store for year 2 in this wild journey ^^

My ol bike video
Man I built this bike years ago... and posted the video up on youtube, completely forgetting all about it. and the other day my boss Bill told me that my video of my old lowrider bike on youtube with air suspension crap on it has over half a million views... Thats not as many as most videos out on youtube, but that is for sure a lot more than I could have ever imagined for a silly little video clip that I had only posted up for a few of my friends to watch. and there a hella comments too, some even recent. The comments are what makes me laff the most about this video personally :)
And its funny how all that work and doing stuff to make it happen, and now the bike just sits in the garage next to all the other bikes collecting inches of dust... Poor Louie Vuitton seat, one day Ill dust you off...
2ne1 is coo
I think im going to start posting up my favorite songs and music videos and junk. maybe movies? reviews? idk. something else for me to do on this blogging thingy.
so to start off:
2NE1 is one of my faves!

Tron Legacy was awesome!
Earlier today Justin told me he had seen Tron Legacy and told me that it was awesome. I have wanting to see this movie since Day one when I saw the previews for it. Finally me and my wonderful lady friend went on a little movie date :) ...although movie tickets are ridiculous now ... $29.50 for 2 tickets, and $5.75 for a small popcorn.... Jeezus. Well to say the least I thought Tron Legacy was well worth the money. ^^ A grand total of 4 thumbs up from me and mimi.
A surprisingly good turn out tonight for Tron as well. A totally of 6 people!!! including us!
...well the movie has been out for a while... and it is a monday night... but it was nice to have an empty theater to watch such a fabulous movie :)
Oh and thank you J-chan! thank you for the words of wisdom to watch this movie!
I <3 Tron :)

its cold outside....
Its 4:45 AM and my lovely mimi just left my house.
we knew it was cold out side, because earlier at 11pm of yesterday....today...tonight? well earlier we were at the gym and it was cold. It was cold when i left work at 9:30pm...
But... I didnt know it was going to be this cold... as we opened the front door, instantly a blast of arctic air rushed in. We ran outside and Jiminy Crickets Charlie Brown it was literally freezing outside! As mimi drove off i walked over to the 610 sedan and looked at the car cover and noticed it was twinkling, and as I reached out and touched it, all I felt was icey frostyness. I walked up the driveway and noticed that each of the cars carried that same twinkle as the sedan did, and I was amazed.
I remember a long time ago as a kid during the days of Hollenbeck Elementary when it would be so cold outside in the mornings that out on the grassy field it would be icey. And I remember days of when I saw ice roofs in the morning on the way to school. I feel like it has been a long time since its been this cold.... or maybe its just been a long time since I was awake early enough to see it. lol
It sucks that its so cold, but its kind of cool too. Its not too often in Sunnyvale to see it frozen over like this.

Im tired... The past couple days I have been feeling a bit under the weather as well... not cool.
...cant wait till school starts. Ill have no time for anything, but it will help me save my scrilla since I wont have much time to spend it. maybe in the near future I should blog a list of things I want to do or wish to have, or idk just some sort of list of junk for 2011.
2011 has lots of things I need money for! :) But Money doesnt come easy... Its work work work....
:(
Another big change in 2011 is that I now only work 1 shift at Sushi Kai. Friday Lunches. My wensday and thursday night shifts that I used to work at Kai are now being replaced for shifts at Yuki. Come visit me :)

Finally got my truck back!!!! Shibal!
So my truck was locked up and finally I was able to get it back :)
Although it wasnt that easy.. it was a long journey....
So I get out of work on X-Mas eve around 2pm. I had to skip the Misaki family side party for xmas this year to take care of some stuff... well they had dinner/lunch around 2pm anyways which was around the time I was getting out.... anyways. I rushed out of work and ran to the DMV to get a one day moving pass. I found out that the best day to go to the DMV is Xmas EVE!!! I got from parking, Walked right in to get my number, and as soon as i sat in a chair to wait, my number was called. I was in and out in serriously like 7-8 minutes. After that I smashed over to the Mountain View Police Station to pay the fine and show them my paper work and junk from the DMV and the white lady who claimed to have never seen me before and had never talked to me, nor recognize me.... Recognized me right away, knowing my reason for being there as well.... Anyways she did her job and I paid and I got what i needed to have my truck released from the impound.
So I call up the Tow yard, Dunn's Towing/auto body, and get ahold of them and they send their driver over to meet me and get my truck out. I drove 2 blocks from the police station to Dunn's and waited 20 minutes and met with the guy. He did his paper work and I paid him money and I then walked around to gate where he went to go retrieve my truck. I waited and waited for a while, until I see him walking back to me with a confused look... My shaved handles had kept him out of my truck... not a big deal...
so I walked back to my truck with him and he tells me that he cant open my door, so I walk up to my truck and try, and it didnt work... Then I noticed they had locked the truck.... so long story short the guy had to slim jim the lock to open the door. I got in and turned the key as he made sure I had room to get out. As i turned the key the started cranked slowly as I noticed my battery was dead.... So the tow truck driver wiggled his truck around some cars and down the aisle, he jumped started my truck :) and I was on my way out. I left the tow yard and headed home. As I was driving, I took a look at my gas guage... They had taken over half a tank of my gas.... (not cool). Oh well I said to myself and I deiced to just hit the gas station on the way home, and luckily it wasnt too far cuz My truck started cutting out, due to lack of gasoline in the tank. I made it into the station and my truck dies right as I pull in. I pumped a few dollars of gas and I jump into my truck and turn the key, but i forgot that my truck battery was dead... So I figure they must have jumper cables in the gas station since there was a garage with mechanics working on cars. So i walkin into the the shop and ask the guy if he has cables and he nods and walks over and picks up a battery that was made into a "jumper battery?"
Well it was kinda cool i thought and a good idea... maybe ill make one too. And it worked! Finally I was on my way home again! I pull out of the gas station and pop some sunflower seeds in my mouth as I drive off. I spit some shells out the window and a cop siren blares outloud and lights flash behind me as if I had just stolen this truck... I pull over and the cop demands me to turn off the truck... I knew it was going to suck because my battery was dead... But I had no choice. the guy walkes up to my truck and asks me why he pulled me over and I figured it was for my registration stickers, since they still said 2009. but I showed him the paper work and stuff that showed that I had just gotten the truck out of impound and that I was on my way home. He said he noticed that the Reg was old, but he said the reason he pulled me over was for littering.... And I said really? cuz Im eating sun flour seeds. and all i did was spit out the shells. He looked a little disgruntled and he took my license to run it through the system.
he came back and told me to go home, and I asked him if he had any jumper cables and he said "nope, sorry." and He walked back to his car and just drove off. So Here I am.. once again, stuck, with a dead battery, and guess what.... parked in a red zone... real nice....
Oh i forgot to mention... Me and mImI were having a not so great day with each other... a lot of not talking and not calling each other... more added stresses. Oh yah and I was starving! I didnt eat anything all day!!!!
After the cop left I had no choice but to call Mimi, wondering if she was even going to pick up.... and she didnt... but she called back right away. :) I told her my story in short form and luckily she was already out of the house and on her way. And she had just ordered jack in the box!!! YUM! I had her go to my house and go in my wagon to pull out some jumper cables and then drive over to me and save my life :) (Your a life saver beb <3)
anyways finally I was able to jump the truck and start it up and drive home. :)
Im a much happier camper now that My truck is back where it belongs :)
