today what I did

got up and went to work. left Sunnyvale at 6:30ish AM.

The Truck parked in front of work this morning at 7:15 am in SF.














Cut some stuff for the daytime/weekday/during open time crew


















Cruised over to SFwekfest in Japantown for a little bit to kick it with Jonny for a minute, and Justin, Andrew, Troy, David, and others for a little while. Surprisingly there was like a million people attending. way more than I expected. My stay was short since I parked at safeway, and I wasnt tryin to get all ticketed up.

$15 admission, $10 with a flier, free and early admission if you jump the handrails while they arent looking :D






























Saw this sweet VIP car. Last time I saw him, he made a funny comment about my Wheels... He said, "Yah I was going to get Work Rezax, but they didnt come in my offset..."

















after all that nonsense, we went out of the garage/car show area, and ppl went potty. We went outside and kicked it for a minute and Aya showed up. Justin wanted to show Aya the show (show the show lol.. IDK i thought it was funny) so everyone wandered their way back to the show, and I decided it was time for me to part with them. I said my good byes and walked back to my truck laffing at all the people standing and waiting in line to get into the show.

i had a nice drive home in the beautiful weather. I took a 2 hour nap, and later ate some food and did homework with mIMi. oh and Downloaded some music... and wrote this blog...

Fixed the dimmer switch finally on the B2000. it only took my 3 or 4 years to do so... and its crazy! doesnt even feel like im driving the same truck anymore at night!


















was Almost late to class cuz a truck's trailer decided to take a nap on the onramp from HWY 85 getting onto 237.


















Pulled some strings and got a cop to come to my house to sign off my fix it ticket for the wagon.

















Got pulled over leaving mission college for my registration...

My name Is Russell Misaki and I want a Chevrolet Impala. a 1959 would be ideal, but 62, 63, or 64 would make me almost nearly just as happy... :)

Impalas have been up in my top faves out of everything in the world. lowriders are by far my favorite type of car. Since my early years in life ive always wanted one, but was never able to get one. Ive always wanted to build one up from the ground making it a long term project. As time passes these cars get more expensive and harder to find so i need to act fast...

I think ill start saving up...

Lowrider videos From Yokohama - Aug 2009 trip to japan

So back in the month of August of 2009, me and Justin went to Japan. We stopped in many cities and areas, and saw/did many cool and crazy things. Anyhoo, I came across some of the videos we took from a car meet thingy we found out about in Yokohama, Japan. These videos dont do any justice to how awesome it really was in person. And they dont capture all of the cars and things that were going on out there as we hung out for many hours watching all this madness.






Heres was a group a friends we met and talked to, well this video doesnt show them, but its of their cars... :P

There was people out there gettin all roudy hoppin down the street and doin burnouts in reverse and then doing burnouts in not reverse, and then making other people in trucks doing burnouts going the opposite direction... madness....







Down one of the side streets there was litterally 4-5 blocks of just lowriders parked and people just kickin it. And there was other cars just cruzin around and doin their thing (burnouts, hoppin, whatevs). but yah one guy had a super clean 64 impala, all graffix on everything, the car was super crazy, and he decided to 3wheel down the street.







one group of people we met, had a friend who i guess it was his first time out for this cruise/meet thing, and he had a pickup truck on Dros











thats all folks! maybe one day ill post some pics up... but idk.. im kinda lazy for that... But For sure this was the best Car thing I have ever been to. I have no idea if anything will ever be cooler than this for the rest of my life.... unless I go back to Yokohama and see it all over again!
